Honeymoon in Venice
To the northeast part of Italy is the beautiful city of Venice, the city of canals. Venice is literally suspended above the ocean and is rich with history.
Venice Hotels
The first challenge of Venice is to pick the hotel, and since you either came by cruise, car, or possibly plane then it is best to get settled in before enjoying the city as rich as this one. Some of the best hotels are Hotel Cipriani with the only swimming pool in Venice, 3.5 acres of gardens and a taste of food to make anyone want more. Concordia Hotel Venice is located in St. Mark’s Square which is the heart of Venice, which also means easy access to everything you will ever want to see. The last hotel to consider is II Palazzo, as it has some of the best views anyone could ever hope to see of Venice, and you can take one of the fabled Gondola rides straight from the hotel’s private boat dock. Just remember the best time is to go at night. Be sure that they have a blanket to snuggle under.
One of the places to eat is Ristorante Masaniello, with its romantic setting and perfect Neapolitan cuisine. It is only a 15 minute walk from St. Mark’s Square.
In the square are literally an assortment of historical and beautiful sights and museums that would take weeks to fully see and appreciate. Venice is one of the few cities that is layered with countless surprises and places to truly enjoy.
